The sacrifices are usually done to people we love. Sacrifice means doing what you do not really want to do just to make other people happy or satisfied. May be sacrificed in a choice of a decision that is not really acceptable to you just because you wanted to please and make someone happy. This could be very hard, but it's compliance, and to make others happy even though they are suffering inside. Sometimes this is applicable to a relationship when one has to sacrifice if he or she not love your partner more.
The theme this week in the Wilfred U.S. Season 1 is more sacrifice. If last week, we talk about isolation, this week is more focused on issues about sacrifices. Last week, Wilfred was deeply concerned about Ryan, who chooses to keep himself in place to mingle and interact with others. He said people are already starting to think that Ryan is rare, and for me to really be considered that way. So to help Ryan to take him out to be anti-social, it starts to make his friend more sociable human and accessible. But of course, apart from the intention to help Ryan, Wilfred also had an ulterior motive.
